Coming up with ideas for your social media posts doesn’t have to be a challenge. There are various types of content you can use and repurpose to make sure your profiles and pages are looking relevant and attracting engagement.Here are some ideas I’ve gathered together to help make this process easier. 


1. Promote Upcoming Events


Advertise your upcoming event and encourage sign-ups. This type of post is ideal for any event your host throughout the year. 


2. Customer Reviews


Testimonials are great for social proofing. Showcasing reviews on social media will add credibility to your brand name.


3. Your Recent  Podcast


Give your audience updates. Don’t let them find your podcast organically. It will also be a great way to target those familiar with your brand.


4. Promote New Products


If you have a new product or launching a brand new service your platforms a great place to publicise your this news. Create interactive campaigns like giveaways and competitions to help lift your engagement.


5. Bring Back Throwback Thursday


If you’re running out of photos to post and don’t have time to take more yourself, you can always look through your archives. 


6. Case Studies


Show your social media followers how you helped one of your clients do something. For example, let’s say you’re a personal trainer. You can share a post explaining how you helped one of your clients lose 10 pounds in 10 days.


7. Refresh Your Older Content


Breathe new life into older content by sharing previous blog posts on twitter or LinkedIn. You can also share videos you uploaded on YouTube a while ago and post them to Facebook.

Images are more eye-catching than text. We know 90% of information transmitted to the brain is visual. If you have infographics, use them. If not, you can find great ones online or create new ones yourself.


9. Use Inspirational Quotes 


Remember you want to be a positive voice, you want to add value and each post should serve your audience. Inspirational posts are effective in helping you convey that positive message.


10. Insightful Research


If your company has done a recent study on something interesting, use social media to post your findings. You can also talk about other people’s findings but make sure to cite your sources.
